Last year we heard about the violence at Wal-Mart during Black Friday. According to reports, a man at a North Versailles Wal-Mart punched and seriously injured an elderly Wal-Mart greeter.
Paul Washington is accused of punching Thomas Jenkins in the face at a North Versailles, Pennsylvania Wal-Mart, breaking several bones in the elderly man’s face.
According to a WPXI report, Jenkins, 72, said “I am walking down, the next thing you know, boom, I’m on the ground. I didn’t see nothing coming,” said Jenkins. “All I hear is, ‘Pow,’ and I am on the ground laying.”
Jenkins was taken to UPMC McKeesport Hospital and then transferred to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital because he lost a large amount of blood and several teeth in the attack.
“I got stitches in my mouth, and my eye’s all black and blue. I got bones all cracked in my face,” said Jenkins. “It felt terrible,” said Jenkins. “It’s hard to explain. All I know is my teeth fell out of my mouth in two pieces and I started bleeding. I almost bled to death.”
According to police, the attack was started after Jerkins asked the man for his receipt.
Washington is charged with assault, harassment, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and criminal mischief. He is being held at the Allegheny County Jail.

well it was a black guy and he probably was a shop lifter,theives don’t have receipts. String the bastard up,let him swing. More elderly people are being assaulted than ever now days.
