$50 Million Lottery Ticket Sold In Manitoba

Have you bought a lottery ticket lately? Maybe you bought one this past Friday and have not checked the winning numbers yet? Now is the time to check that ticket!

On Friday, November 6th, 2009, there was a single winning lottery ticket sold in the Manitoba area, which is a Canadian province next to Ontario.

The winning ticket was for the $50 million jackpot in the Lotto Max Draw game.

This is the second highest jackpot ever awarded in Canada, which is just $4.3 million less of the biggest lottery prize ever awarded in Canadian history.

In 2005, a record $54.3 million prize was won in a Lotto 6/49 Draw game. There were seventeen oil and gas workers in the Alberta area who won that million dollar prize.

They split the mega million dollar jackpot between them all. The winning numbers that were drawn in this past Friday’s Lotto Max Draw game were: 2, 7, 8, 11, 16, 17 and 18. The bonus number drawn was 12. The person with this winning ticket from Friday’s Lotto Max Draw game will have one year to come forth and claim their mega million dollar jackpot.

So, if you were in the Manitoba area this past Friday and stopped in to pick up a ticket or tickets and have just been too busy this weekend to check those numbers, now is the time to check your numbers!

No one has claimed the $50 million jackpot prize as of right now.

You may be holding that golden ticket!
