Another Week – No Winner For Lotto Max

Canadians might have been disappointed that there was no winner in Friday’s drawing – even so, next Friday’s drawing will increase substantially as ticket sales continue to grow. Although the major jackpot was not claimed by anyone there were a number of million dollar winners.

The million dollar winners are those from the Maxmillion prizes. In lotto max anything collected over $50 million is divided into one million dollar sub prizes. There have been a number of sub prizes claimed and the Canadian people are excited about their claims.

For this lotto draw the Canadians purchased $35 million worth of lottery tickets. Sales are expected to increase substantially during the coming week. Since the maxmillion prize was introduced last December sales are up. In July sales have increased by more than 23 per cent.

Friday nights main draw saw the numbers 17, 19, 26, 29, 34, 35, and 38 pop up. The bonus number was 47. Four people had six numbers in addition to the bonus number. The prize was $383,156. There were 128 people with six numbers who will each claim $6,364.20. The smallest pay out was $20. – 169,809 people claimed four numbers while 169,809 other people claimed their $20. with three numbers plus the bonus number. More than one million people won a free play by having three of the numbers.

Although the main jackpot will remain at $50 million for next Friday’s draw chances look good that there might be another $50 million to split in the Maxmillion prizes. Canadians like the lotto set up because it gives all players better odds at becoming a millionaire over night.

One of the previous Lotto max winners, Gary Troll, said his win has made a major difference in his life. Still, Troll has not quit his job and he still uses his salary to care for his family.
