Lotto Max is a lottery game that is played in Canada, replacing the Lotto Super Seven. Sales for the Lotto Max started on 9-19-2009 with drawings held every Friday starting 9-25-2009. The prizes for the game are awarded due to many numbers in each 7-number game match the winning numbers. Once the maximum of $50 million is reached the lotto is capped off. After that additional draws are conducted for one million dollars each.

On Friday July 30th 2010, the drawing was estimated at the fifty million prize cap, with multiple “Maxmillion” draws.

Friday nights main draw saw the numbers 17, 19, 26, 29, 34, 35, and 38 pop up. The bonus number was 47. Four people had six numbers in addition to the bonus number. The prize was $383,156. There were 128 people with six numbers who will each claim $6,364.20. The smallest pay out was $20. – 169,809 people claimed four numbers while 169,809 other people claimed their $20. with three numbers plus the bonus number. More than one million people won a free play by having three of the numbers.

Although the main jackpot will remain at $50 million for next Friday’s draw chances look good that there might be another $50 million to split in the Maxmillion prizes. Canadians like the lotto set up because it gives all players better odds at becoming a millionaire over night.

One of the previous Lotto max winners, Gary Troll, said his win has made a major difference in his life. Still, Troll has not quit his job and he still uses his salary to care for his family.
