Canada Day 2012

Every year on July 1st, Canadian’s celebrate Canada Day, the nations birthday. Today tens of thousands of people will flock to the capital to celebrate in grand style.

The Canada Day Noon Show at Parliament Hill will feature the Governor General, the Prime Minister, and the Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages hosting the protocol ceremony.

A spectacular airshow will feature CF 18′s and Snowbirds followed by a concert showcasing some of Canada’s top entertainers such as Michael Beauclerc, Jully Black, Feist and Simple Plan just to name a few.

An evening show is planned at Parliament Hill with the night ending with a traditional massive fireworks display.
