Woman’s Antics Unnerves Other Passengers on Jamaica Flight

What was supposed to be a relaxing trip to Jamaica aboard Carribbean Airlines became an unnerving flight thanks to a woman passenger who exhibited unusual behavior.

Shortly after the plane was in the air, the female passenger, who boarded the flight in Toronto, began cursing while jumping up and down.

Sweets Lawrence told the CBC the trouble began almost immediately after passengers boarded the plane.

“She jumped up and she started cursing,” Lawrence told CBC News in an interview over Skype, explaining what she saw on the July 30 flight.

Things went from bad to worse when the woman starting roaming up and down the aisle brandishing a nail file and flight attendants admitted they were too scared to attempt to tie her down.

“She came up the aisle with the nail file and she was there to and fro with it and everybody was getting agitated because we were all nervous, we were all scared,” said Lawrence.

“We had persons literally running from their seats. Kids were crying, big adults were crying, people were horrified.”

Several of the passengers captured the woman’s crazy antics on their cellphones as proof of her mental melt-down, but since no one was injured during the flight, the woman was not arrested when the plane touched down and simply went on her way.

Airport officials confirmed that they never received any request for assistance or added security from Carribbean Airlines and airline officials refused to make any further comment about the bizarre situation or the identify of the passenger who managed to unnerve everyone on board.
