The topic of dicsussion will be whether or not the Patriots recorded the walkthrough of the St. Louis Rams the day before they beat them in the Super Bowl a few years ago.

Republican Specter wants to know why the NFL destroyed the six videotapes which had the Patriots video-taping, illegally on the sidelines.

Specter put in question the 2005 Super Bowl win by the Patriots over the Philadelphia Eagles as well.

Goodell stated a week ago "I think there are very good explanations for the reason why I destroyed the tapes or had them destroyed by our staff."

"There was no purpose for them."
