Waffle Shortage May force People To Lego Their Eggo’s

Are you one of those people who like to take advantage of a quick and tasty breakfast? If so, there might be bad news for you. If you’re a fan of Kellog’s waffles then you might have to wait until the summer of 2010 to be able to eat them regularly again.

Two of Eggos factories have recently been shut down, one for repairs and one because of rain damage. This has led to a large decrease in supplies of Eggos in supermarkets and discount stores around the country. A spokesperson for the company has said that they will supply the stores with the best sales first, until everything begins to run normal again.

Eggos waffles began to be sold in 1960. Since then, they have experienced enormous popularity. They’re a good option for anyone who needs a quick breakfast. You stick them in the toaster, then pour syrup on them (some people also add butter).

Another big reason for Eggos’ popularity is the ad campaign they began in 1972, which was based on the phrase ‘Leggo My Eggo.’ That phrase stuck in the minds of consumers for decades.

If you enjoy Eggos waffles, you shouldn’t worry too much. They will be back in full force before you know it.
