According to reports, Randolph Forde, a teacher at Mundy’s Mill High School in suburan Atlanta was arrested and charged with making terrorist threats against one of his students.
According to the police report, on October 9 Randolph took a student off a school bus and told him he “would pay him to kill the victim.” When the student asked who the target would be, Randolph said he’d write the name on a note. On that note was the name of a student who he a run-in with days prior. On about Sept. 29, the student said Randolph summoned him outside the classroom and asked him if he is gay. Then, according the student’s attorney, the teacher and student had an argument in class and Randolph threatened to “hit him in his fucking mouth.”

“The teacher threatened to hit him in his f*cking mouth,” said Terrence Madden, lawyer for the student involved in the incident while speaking on one of Forde’s threats.
GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, is outraged after hearing the allegations.
“Our thoughts and sympathies go out to the student and the student’s family,” GLSEN Executive Director Eliza Byard said. “This incident is deeply troubling on many levels. The charges, if true, are horrifying. Anti-LGBT bias and behavior among students is troubling and damaging enough without the added danger of irresponsible actions on the part of the adults responsible for their education and care.”
Forde was arrested last month on charges that say he made terrorist threats. His bond was posted at the price of $10,000.
