Carnivores are already under fire, but a woman from Florida has given carnivores an even worse name. Elise Egan hit her terminally ill partner with a raw steak.

According to a Marion County Sheriff’s Office report, her 49-year-old boyfriend wanted rolls with dinner. Ms. Egan was serving sliced bread.

Elise has been charged with domestic violence.

The angry American repeatedly hit her handicapped friend Peter Schabhuttl, 49 with the meat during a quarrel over bread. Schabhuttl stated that he “wanted a bread roll.”

Egan, 53, denied hitting the man with the steak but did admit to slapping him, saying she did it “so that he could learn.”

The police found red spots on Schabhuttls cheek and head.

The victim told police Egan had been drinking port wine most of the day.

Egan was charged with abusing a disabled adult.  She was released on $2,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court in January. It’s unclear if she has an attorney.
