Employees at the Taco Bell in Ohio were shocked when a young man gave them $72 for a taco and refused to take his money back.
The manager was so shocked that he called the police in attempt to give him his change back, as he appeared to be drunk and only had one taco.
All the man did before leaving the restaurant was to wish the staff a merry Christmas.
Manager Aaron Ohm said he was convinced the man would come back but he has not been seen since he gave his generous gift some days ago.
Police said they will keep hold the money in evidence for 60 days. If the man does not retrieve the cash, the manager will be able to take it as a nice bonus.

Why did the police take the money ?? Is there a crime or even a suspicion of a crime here ?
The police take it because the manager of the Taco Bell called them and wanted to give the money back to the guy. The manager thought the guy was drunk and was nice enough to try and not take advantage of it. The only way to ensure everyone gets what they want is to have a neutral 3rd party (ie law enforcement) hang on to the money. That way it can get back to the “drunk” guy after he sobers up, or go back to the manager if it’s not claimed in 60 days.
