Better proposition for airlines and airports:
Undress every passenger naked. Hand-cuff them. Place in cargo planes or luggage compartments. Do not feed them (Air Canada already does not). Abuse them the way you want (Air Canada already does). Do not worry - you have a great excuse: SECURITY!!! You’ll also save some effort on cleaning cabins and washrooms. When in some years nobody will fly, you may cry for government help and surely get a bailout with a few dozens of billions dollars. Unfortunately it will not help on a long run, so regardless of years of “service” as unionized workers for a better pension take some training in a local coffee shop in order to prepare for “lovely” retirement. May be then, other generations of airlines and airport personnel will bring back common sense, respect to ones who pay them, service etc. Or I‘m too optimistic here?

Just like the lie detector, debunked pseudoscience garbage. Middle eastern countries will always jump on that trash. Remember Iraq defense minister is trying to get their forces to use bomb detectors (more debunked pseudoscience) instead of the tried and true method... dogs.

If it were an MRI like scan maybe we could catch diseases earlier. Make it worth while even if it doesn't really stop bad people. Even a noninternal scan could with the right software detect many common health problems, not just questionable carry-on baggage, maybe email a confidential report to the ticket holders. Just a thought.

Oh that’ll be great for frequent flyer business passengers! Get a couple of MRI’s or three every week – should develop Brain cancer in about a year!

The best thing we should do is boycott all flights to USA or air space over the States until these scanners are shut down!
Excuse me, there was a typo on last article entry! So, hence a double entry!

The new scanners use rays that are 1000 times less energetic then a typical X-ray. So you could have around 3 a day for an entire year and that would only be the equivalent of one normal X-Ray.
