Martin Amis Wants To Euthanize The Eldery

Martin Amis, a well known author, has given a brash suggestion on how to deal with the financial burden that elderly healthcare is placing on Great Britain’s economy.

Amis has suggested placing euthanasia booths on busy street corners where the country’s oldest citizens could commit suicide.

Martin Amis continued to say there is a “demographic time bomb” facing Britain today. Amis believes he could foresee a large population of elderly citizens invading the street corners like a bunch of unwanted immigrants. Amis envisions a potential civil far 10 to 15 years from now that could pit the elderly against younger generations.

Amis believes the senior citizens who elect to commit suicide should be congratulated and offered both a martini and a medal for offering to give up their lives.

The comments made recently by Martin Amis have obviously been insulting to many people. Novelist Joan Brady, who is 70 years old, took particular offense to the comments made by Amis. Brady accused Amis of trivializing a very significant issue and said that Amis was guilty of “flippancy” and that Amis had prostituted himself when he made the comments.

Amis, who is 60 years old, newest book titled “The Pregnant Widow”, is set to be published in the near future.

Mr. Amis is certainly of the age where he should lead us all in this brilliant idea by his own example.
