Does anyone know if this is safe for the fetus? We’re talking about a female taking androgens to look like a male. Doesn’t that have a negative effect on the growing fetus? What are the long term effects on these offspring who are developing in a female body that is hormonally imbalanced?

I think its a wonderful story of self expression and identity. Scott is a strong man and I feel that if he had the strength to tell the world he is a man, then he will have the strength and courage to raise a child. Children adapt and many children who grow up in gay families are more accepting and have a better understanding of themself. Congrats Scott.

The first story was a shocker to the world, and that was more than I needed. Now it seems like if one does it and come out openly with it now its like a trend for men now to have the ablity to get pregnant. My thoughts are if they adopted two children in the beginning, because they lived as gay men why now have a baby? My last thought is does any one of them gay or transgender have a clue of who they really are? I would like to see the media not give this crap much attention and report news and information that is worth reporting.

First because I am gay doesn’t mean that I have to embrace anything. I’ve had a hard life because I’m gay. I have been fired from jobs, beaten up, spit on, you name it, I’ve dealt with it. I have also served my country, paid my taxes and have tried and succeeded to be a productive citizen. I have a right to feel anyway I want.

I don’t have to embrace this whole trans-gender half assed nonsense. Sorry you don’t get to get up one day and declare that your now another gender just because your taking steroids and believe that I have to embrace it. If you are truly a trans gender then you want more then anything and will do anything to change your body.

If your are un-willing to remove the uterus and get a penis, sorry Mary, you are not a trans gender. If you are carrying a child in that uterus, YOU ARE A WOMAN!! There is nothing discriminatory or hateful about the TRUTH!!

All those alleged people especially female to male who claim they feel man enough just taking steroids are full of S%%^T. They just want to pass as a man so they don’t have to deal with the stigma of being “BUTCH”. Cheap easy way to get by. Thats all ok with me. I just won’t buy the pregnant man nonsense. Because I am gay and have had to deal with society; I have a right to take offense at nonsense as does every person whether their in your camp, republican, democrat, black, white, brown or from Mars. I don’t care what you call yourself or how you live or what you do. What I do care about is ass holes just like you believing you have a right to decide how I should or shouldn’t feel. You don’t.

I have no clue why you and your politically correct nut cases believe that I have to embrace people who are lying to themselves living in the land of OZ, pretending to be men while in fact they are merely a different flavor of lesbian.

My statement simply says and is backed by science “There is no such thing as a pregnant man”.
Their is nothing hateful, discriminatory, racists, or mean about the truth.

Please go educate yourself. Save your silly code words for someone who can be bullied, ah – that wouldn’t be me…

James, you put it so succinctly, and you’re right – where will it end? Dolphin’s trapped in a human’s body – you make perfect sense! Your analogies strike at the heart of the LGBT community. I don’t hate them, I sympathize for them. We have to have standards and not try to change reality otherwise we will have so much chaos we will destroy ourselves. So many other civilizations (Rome, Greece, etc.) fell for many reason, one was sexual immorality and people trying to change reality into something that it was not! It’s hard not getting emotional towards people who think differently on such issues, but we have to look at the ISSUES and Judge the ISSUES and work with the people. Well, so much for that idealistic notion.
