Have a little think that tolerance can be taken a little far when we are talking about murder. Just have a little think of your terror as your father and grandfather tied you up, and you heard them digging the hole, and they put you in it, and you screamed and screamed as the soil got closer and closer to your mouth and nose, and then you slowly suffocated – for the crime of talking to a boy! But, I guess – you dont think very much do you, or you would be incapable of writing your dreadful words.

All people commenting here are dumb, and generalize the situation to entire Turkey, and Turks:

1. First, this act was done by a Kurdish family. Turks have spent years trying to civilize Kurds, but they are still the same. Too bad though that such behaviors Kurds demonstrate, including their terrorism against Turkey, is supported by the West.

2. In Turkey, girls (and boys) have sex before marriage much more often than American or Canadian boys/girls do, and they do not get punished (or made subject to an honor killing). This is an individual act, and could have happened anywhere. We hear similar stories in the news about US/Canada all the time. Just like you wouldn’t generalize it to the whole North America and call North Americans savage, etc., the same should go for Turkey, one of the most modern countries in the world.

This is horrible and unfortunately that part of Turkey has still long way to go.
But I do not understand the people who jumps on whatever bad happens in Turkey and show their hatred about Turks and Turkey.
These kind of murders happen all over the world.
A parent kills his/her child whatever the motive is
unbelievable.
For example Gigi Jordan killed her son with fatal dose of pills. A rich, educated woman.
