Self Proclaimed Savior Arrested for Enslaving Women

An Israeli man is being held in jail pending an investigation into the possible enslavement of at least 17 women. Goel Ratzon is a 60 year old man who is often called “Savior,” which just happens to be the Hebrew meaning for his first name and the name his slaves were forced to call him.

The man is being deemed a cult leader and his women are being referred to as his harem. He fathered at least 37 children in the harem. Some of those children are children of his children. The women had been tattooed with Ratzon’s name and face. Their children were named after the self proclaimed healer. They were given strict rules to live by and Ratzon enforced those rules by observing the women on a security camera system. He kept the entire brood living in squalor in a Tel Aviv apartment complex.

A 7 month undercover investigation led to Ratzon’s arrest. 15 of the abused women were taken to shelters to begin their long healing process. 2 are being held as accomplices to Ratzon’s crimes. His charges include rape, incest, and slavery. He has bragged about his harem for several years and was even featured in a documentary last year.
