The Case Of The Disappearing Marijuana

Any time there is 1700 pounds of confiscated marijuana traveling from one state to another, it would be expected for that vehicle to be closely guarded. Was that the case for a truck carrying an estimated $1 million dollars of pot? Nobody knows the answer to that question for sure, but the answer is most likely ‘no.’

The only thing we know about this truck’s travels from Memphis, Tennessee to Louisville, Kentucky is that when it was checked in Louisville, it was empty. Sources claimed to have seen several cars approach the truck while it was parked in Louisville and then leave the scene. This supposedly happened several times. The people that were inside the approaching vehicles were most likely the culprits, but there’s still no proof. An investigation is being put forth.

This large supply of marijuana was confiscated on February 10 and safely escorted to Memphis, Tennessee. At this point in time, nobody is sure what happened in Louisville. In other words, how was it possible for this to happen? There are two potential scenarios: Either someone wanted the marijuana so bad that they figured out a creative way to obtain it, or, perhaps the escorts were high from second-hand smoke.
