A woman of the cloth, Margot Kaessmann who received a DUI in the nation of Germany has resigned his post in shame.

The bishop realized that he could not stay in his post given that he had shamed so many of the parish followers and he did not want to make them upset any longer with his error in judgment. Margot Kaessmann says he knows that so many Protestants in Germany have been let down by his behavior and that he can no longer stay in office as a bishop that so many are supposed to look up to, admire and seek guidance from.

Prosecutors say that Margot Kaessmann was operating his motor vehicle as he was drunk and that he could have endangered a number of German citizens. The German people are use to the concept of reading about drunk driving incidents, but not typically when the drunk driving incident involves a bishop, a man of the Lord.

Margot Kaessmann did fail a breathalyzer test after it was administered to him by police from the area. He was reasonable enough to take the breathalyzer test and make sure that he at least had a chance to save his job and his reputation in case he wasn’t legally drunk.
