While assault on a police officer is not overly unusual, one Kentucky woman seems to have found a new way to commit the crime. Toni Tramel, who is a 31 year old woman from Kentucky, allegedly squirted breast milk on a police officer. Tramel was undressing in front of a policewoman after Tramel was arrested for public intoxication.

According to local news sources, Tramel surprised the policewoman when she squirted her directly into the face. By assaulting the police officer, Tramel appears to have worsened her situation as she received a third degree assault charge for the incident. This felony charge came with a bond that was set at $10,000 for the woman. Had Tramel not reacted so poorly to the situation, she likely would have been let go with minimal repercussions.

The police officer, who was allegedly assaulted, appears to be fine and did not sustain any significant injury. The police officer reportedly was able to de-contaminate herself immediately and got all of the Tramel’s breast milk off immediately. The police officer who was assaulted has not yet commented on the incident.

As inconsequential as the breast milk assault story may be, news of the story has sprung up internationally.
