Bank took house and parrot during a mistake repossession

Bank of America is being sued by a Pennsylvania woman whose home was wrongfully repossessed.

According to reports at the time of the incident, Bank of America sent in a crew to repossess a home because of a foreclosure. They were to remove any person who was residing in the home and lock the house up for security. While this may seem common practice in the foreclosure market there was one simple problem, Angela Lannelli was not behind in her mortgage.

In the suit filed yesterday, Ms. Lannelli has stated that her mortgage was not behind and that the damage done by the repossession crew was enormous. This includes taking her pet parrot. The repossession crew took her parrot with them prior to locking down the home. Furniture and personal possessions were damaged in the hostile take over of her property. It took several phone calls to the bank to get the bird back and to be able to reenter her home.

A spokesperson for Bank of America has stated that there is no tolerance for such a mistake in their company and that they are looking into the incidence and the lawsuit that was filled. In the meantime, Angela Lannelli has regained ownership of her bird and home.

This just goes to show you all that banks do not give a care about the customers. They should be able to get things right with the correct information the first time. Do you really want people who cannot even read correct address information and navigate to the correct house in charge of your money? B of A keeps sending me notices on an account that never ever existed. They do not even have an office in my state, so how could I ever even have an account with them? B of A should win the dunce award for the crappiest bank that will rip you off. They would win top honors for ripping people off. We never should have bailed them out. If they do not have the cash, let them go out of business like the normal flow of things.
