A Massachusetts church has revealed that they will have services for dogs. The Calvary Episcopal Church in Danvers, Massachusets has annnounced that later this month that they will offer their ‘Perfect Paws Pet Ministry’ which they say will help pets have a better chance of making it into heaven.

The church says that it will hold the special services on the third Sunday of every month and it will come complete with communion with their human counterparts. The pets will recieve special treats as part of the service.

The Rev. Thea Keith-Lucas stated that well mannered and leashed dogs will be allowed to attend the services.

There will be a prayer list and there will also be list for other pets if they so choose. Rev. Keith-Lucas went on to say that the dogs will have a say in the services because barking will not be banned. She said that the pet owners will be able to make special prayer request for their dogs if they are sick, not good around other dogs, or deceased. The church has taken to the special ministry with open arms and the Rev. Keith-Lucas says that there will also be offerings for local animal shelters and the SPCA.
