Weddings use to be intimate ceremonies that included close friends and family members. This is not the case anymore as wedding continue to grow larger and larger.

One such wedding took place in Proctorville, Ohio this past Saturday. Jill Stapleton had a wedding party that included 110 bridesmaids. This surpassed the current Guinness Book of World Records statistic for the most bridesmaids. The reigning number was 90. Obviously the stakes have been raised.

Stapleton, who married Chad Greenhill this past weekend, is the owner of Jill’s Tumble World. She asked her students to be a part of her wedding and it seems they all agreed. The students each had to wear a purple or teal dress during the ceremony in order to reflect the colors of the gym.

Stapleton said of her big day, “It’s kind of a record. We were actually going away for a wedding but this wedding day is more important to these little boys and girls that made my dreams come true. We decided another fairy tale, and this is our dream wedding.”

While Stapleton is a gym instructor, her new hubby is a cheerleader for Marshall University. It seems they have more than love in common.
