Alex Jones Says Google Launches Cover Up

Google Accused of Censorship

Popular paranoid Alex Jones, who frequently has proclaimed grandiose conspiracies online, has targeted search engine and lifestyle company Google. An ongoing battle over Jones’ incendiary media products, Google’s self-titled search engine and YouTube (a company owned by Google) saw the latest salvo fired on Tuesday.

Jones panders to online conspiracy theorists, offering radical and improbable explanations for a number of historical events. The syndicated radio host has held and been fired from a number of media stations, including both a cable access television channel and radio station in Austin, Texas. Jones has also been arrested for operating a bullhorn without a permit and detained at the Canadian-United States border under an immigration hold. Jones was later released after the incident.

The most recent Jones-induced conspiracy frenzy occurred as Google supposedly removed one of Jones’ videos from YouTube. The rambling video, entitled The Obama Deception, makes a number of wildly inaccurate accusations of current president Barack Obama. Several of Jones’ previous videos have been removed due to their violently paranoid content and repeated violations of the YouTube terms of service.

After the removal of the video, Jones furiously incited his followers to search the keywords “Google Spies” in the international search engine. The words quickly climbed to the top of the Google Trends list, a tracker which displays popular keywords being searched for. Shortly thereafter, Jones’ keywords disappeared from the Google Trends list. Given that Google Trends only displays certain keywords within a marked period of time, it is likely Jones’ keywords simply disappeared from unpopularity or disuse. However, Jones continues to wildly insist that Google is censoring him in cooperation with various United States intelligence agencies in a giant conspiracy to keep him from telling the truth to the public. Google has declined public comment on the matter thus far.

  1. Think About It says:

A google trend that drops in popularity disappears off the charts gradually, not suddenly like in this case. Also, you paint Alex Jones like a lunatic for having views that are different from mainstream. I suppose freedom of speech is not an issue here? Is this what I am to believe? Wildly inaccurate accusations about Obama? I highly beg to differ. This article is just mainstream media propaganda to spoonfeed the sleeping masses. The same govt that kills innocent people everyday for oil, same govt that passed the unpopular Wall Street bailout! Give me a break. What gets me is how naive people are. Anyone who actually thinks that our government, or any government on the face of the earth right now , is NOT nefarious enough to do something like this, is highly uneducated in life and/or school. Naive and stupid. There I said it. Don’t like what I have to say? Too bad.
