A London England man Keith Martin is said to be the world’s fattest man. It is said it takes seven people a day to care for him costing the taxpayers of England a healthy sum of money each year.
It takes his seven care partners two shifts to take care of his hygiene needs as well as give him personal care and attention through the day and night.
He is also visited by two nurses every day to give him medical care for his bed sores every other day. He is on health regimen to help him obtain a specified weight that would make him a candidate for the gastric band.
He has not worked in over ten years and has been confined to his bed which has been designed to withstand heavy weights. He is known to have compared his weight problem to people with any other personal problems that result in health problems.
So he is visited by 7 carers a day +2 nurses, so who is bringing him the food that maintains and promotes the weight he is. He can’t be in control of his food intake if he is so incapacitated???????? It seems he is being enabled by his carers to stay exactly the way he is.
