Georgia jeweler offers free gun for diamond purchase
A jewelry store in the Atlanta, Georgia, area has come up with a unique promotion that possibly has never been done before at a fine jeweler.
Customers at D. Geller and Son who spend at least $2,499 on a diamond bracelet, ring, necklace, earrings or other type of jewelry will also get something special – a hunting rifle. Buyers who reach the specified mark do not get actual guns from the store; rather, they will get a voucher for a free rifle that may be redeemed at the shop of a local gun dealer.
The owner of the store, Mike Geller, said he came up with the idea to offer the free hunting rifle after seeing ads from a Missouri car dealer offering a similar deal, reports the New York Daily News.
“It’s unbelievable!” Geller said of the reaction to the promotion.
Geller continued by saying that many of his customers are men, and are also hunters, so he hopes they will take advantage of the opportunity.
“A lot of our customers are hunters, and it just seemed like a great thing to do,” he said.
Geller says costumers who earn the free rifle must follow Georgia state laws to obtain a gun.
