Aaron Hill’s Second Cycle

12 days ago, Aaron Hill, the Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman, hit for the cycle in a game against the Seattle Mariners. Yesterday, Hill did it again, this time against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Hill, 30, become just the second player in Major League Baseball history to hit for the cycle twice in one season since 1900. Hill is one of just four players to have hit two cycles.

A cycle is when a hitter hits a single, a double, a triple and a homerun, in any order in a single game. Babe Hermann was the last player to do so, in 1931.
