According to Variety, Adam Sandler is set to star in and produce the comedy “Jack and Jill”.

Sandler will play the roles of both Jack and Jill, twin brother and sister in this film. Jack Giarraputo along with Sandler will produce the movie from a script written by “Bruce Almighty” scribe Steve Koren.

Sandler last starred in Judd Apatow’s “Funny People” with Seth Rogen, Leslie Mann and Jonah Hill, and has just completed filming “Grown Ups” which will also stars Chris Rock, David spade, Maya Rudolph, Salma Hayek and Rob Schneider.

“Jack and Jill” is set to begin filming early next year for a release in 2011.
