A photograph of Michael Jackson’s body on the autopsy table has been leaked to the public according to several reports on the internet. The accounts claim that this is a high-resolution copy, unlike previously released photos, one of which supposedly showed Jackson’s body lying in a casket, that were believed to have been computer generated.

According to the reports, a high profile restaurant owner in Los Angeles is in possession of the photo, and the reports go on to say that the restaurant owner has been showing the photo to some close friends on his Blackberry. Two of the people who have allegedly seen the photo report that it only shows Jackson’s head from the left side.

However, in addition to a scar on Jackson’s face which is reportedly visible, the front half of his skull was shaved, further bolstering the authenticity of the photo because Jackson is believed to have worn a wig to cover his partial baldness caused by the severe burns he received while shooting a commercial in the 1980s.

Los Angeles Chief Coroner was quick to offer a rebuttal to the reports by saying that in his opinion it would be impossible for any official autopsy photos to have been leaked since they are kept separate from the official autopsy report.
