Jesse James and his wife Sandra Bullock are in a custody feud with James’ ex-wife Janine Lindemulder over the visitation rights of their child. Lindemulder, who was in prison for 7 months for tax evasion charges – she owed the IRS over $200,000, is claiming that Bullock is preventing her from seeing her 5 year-old daughter Sunny.
James’ was given sole custody of Sunny while Janine was in prison and on October 13 a court order granted Janine visitation rights on Sundays. James is claiming that she violated the court order allowing Sunny near her new husband Jeremy James Aikman who is a convicted felon.
Janine is claiming that this is all Bullock’s doing because she can’t have children of her own and wants custody of Sunny.
Bullock said this couldn’t be more untrue “I am aware that Janine has claimed many times that my desire to have Sunny was because I could not have children of my own [James has three kids with his first wife, Karla]. That couldn’t be farther from the truth. I myself have stopped working like I used to in order to be here with Jesse and the kids because we are on constant high alert, never knowing what condition Janine will be in, and even more concerning, the condition Sunny will be in.” Janine is denying all accusations and says she deserves to have custody of her daughter.
