The latest news on the soon-to-be-released Assassin’s Creed II.
Assassin’s Creed II, the sequel to the 2007 game release, is scheduled to hit stores on November 17, 2009 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles.
Along with all the anxiety that the game’s fans face with waiting for the release, fans are also preparing by watching short videos of fictional events leading to the game’s storyline and events.
In addition to preparing for the story line, Assassin’s Creed fans are also reading about the expected release of the second Assassin’s Creed in novel form.
Assassin’s Creed Renaissance, as the book is titled, is scheduled to release approximately one week after the video game. Along with the releases of the Assassin’s Creed II video game, and the novelization of the game, fans also wait anxiously for the debut of the first Assassin’s Creed game in movie form.
The second game in the Assassin’s Creed line is already expected to out-sell the original game.
Janco Partners has estimated the amount of Assassin’s Creed II’s pre-orders to be between ten and twenty percent higher than the pre-order sales of the original Assassin’s Creed.
The first game in the sequel ended up selling over two and a half million in the first month after release, and more than eight million in the few days prior to the release of the second game.
