Mel Gibson and his fiancé Oksana Grigorieva gave birth to their baby — a heathy baby girl named Lucia at an undisclosed hospital in the Los Angeles area last friday.
“This will confirm that Oksana Grigorieva and Mel Gibson welcomed the arrival of a baby girl named Lucia on Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at an undisclosed hospital in Los Angeles,” says Gibson’s rep, Alan Nierob, confirming earlier reports of the event.
“Everything is great! They couldn’t be happier,” a friend tells PEOPLE. “Everyone’s healthy and thrilled. He loooves it!”
Grigorieva is confident that Gibson will never cheat on her and knows her beau is a sex symbol to many women but says he isn’t interested in that.
She said: “If he wanted to go down that road he probably would have done so by now, and I think he is a very solid and faithful person.”
Gibson has six sons and one daughter with Robyn.

I heard over the news that Mel Gibson signed over full custdy of his ten year old son to Robyn Gibson and is moing to Russia and taking out Russian citizenship
Mel is 53 years old and he is still looking great to me, face and body! His ideas are so fresh, his soul is so young!
Mel has been my favourite actor/director since 1980 (30 years now) and it means that I am getting old too, so what? Unfortunately we can not remain young during all our lives…
