Taylor Swift used her Saturday Night Live appearance over the weekend to address all of her tabloid-grabbing headlines – sort of.
In her opening monologue, Swift addressed her ex Joe Jonas, singing, “You might think I’d bring up Joe, that guy who broke up with me on the phone. But I’m not gonna mention him. Hey, Joe. I’m doing really well. I’m hosting SNL.”
She then moved on to rumoured boyfriend Taylor Lautner, singing “If you’re wondering if I might be dating that werewolf from Twilight, I’m not gonna talk about that,” then playfully waving and mouthing “I love you” to the camera.
She closed by adding, “We have a great show. Kanye West is not here!”

Taylor is such a talented young lady….and she is a LADY. She never looks trashy, she has poise and maturity beyond her years, and she always takes the high road. She is definitely a wonderful role model for young girls. I predict she will still be around twenty years from now, but will Brittney or Miley? I wouldn’t “bank” on it.
Wow! I was really impressed by taylor’s job at SNL. She was awesome at it; i love her songs and now i know she can act well. i’m now waiting for her movie with taylor lautner!
Not much of a fan of hers until I saw her on SNL (I’m 51 and into Rock-n-Roll). She was great. Loved the opening song. Hope they bring her back next year.
