Lou Dobbs Quits CNN After Nearly Three Decades

Lou Dobbs announced his resignation from CNN on his Nov. 11 broadcast.

“After nearly three decades anchoring an evening program on CNN, Lou Dobbs has decided to step away from his CNN anchor desk to focus on his role as a commentator and advocacy journalist on his daily radio talk show, as well as to pursue new avenues to contribute to the national discussion on important social, political and economic issues,” said CNN in a written statement.

Dobbs said he would leave the network to pursue opportunities “to engage in constructive problem solving as well as to contribute positively to the great understanding of the issues of our day.”

Some blogs and websites are already speculating what the long time CNN new man will do next.

Some think he will go to Fox News, while others think he could be running for office.

It was about time CNN did something to get this guy off the air waves! I for one am glad he is leaving, he used his show time and time again as a racist platform towards inmigrants from Latinamerica specially those of Mexican descent! Let’s hope the person replacing him has more tolerance towards inmigrants of all races, religious believes and color.!!!

Let us hope that he finds an even larger and higher rostrum from which to continue speaking his words of reason and commonsense. And I think it is a good bet that he will do so. The foes of US sovereignty, law
and order, and freedom of speech, may yet live to
regret that they drove Lou Dobbs from CNN.
