Then There Were Four: DWTS Recap

Last night’s “Dancing with the Stars” was a star-studded event that was shrouded in tension. With five quality couples remaining, not even an appearance by Susan Boyle and a dance by former contestant Sabrina Bryan could provide ample distraction.

Joanna was saved first, which was no surprise given Joanna’s consistent popularity and the stellar futuristic paso doble that she performed this week. The next to be saved was Mya, who scored the first perfect score of the season this week with a 70s-themed samba. In a surprising twist, Donny Osmond secured the next spot in the semi-finals, his showmanship winning out despite his sometimes hit and miss form.

That left Kelly Osbourne and Aaron Carter in the bottom two. It was an all too familiar place for Aaron, who had landed there several times throughout the course of competition, even dancing his way out of elimination in last week’s dance-off. Unfortunately for Aaron, there was no last minute save this time, and he was the next person eliminated, leaving Kelly to advance to the semi-finals.

As a final goodbye, judge Len Goodman took the time to bid Aaron congratulations and farewell before he took his final dance on the floor.
