According to reports, country singer Chuck Wicks and DWTS dancer turned singer Julianne Hough are no longer dating.
A source reports that the break-up “was mutual. They needed some time apart,” says the source.
The silver lining in this cloud is that since they are both country singers, you can bet they’ll both use this breakup for inspiration for any and all future heart-wrenching ballads.
Hough, 21, and Wicks, 30, met on Brad Paisley’s tour in 2008, and were soon reportedly discussing marriage.
“Our first date – it was sushi and then a walk somewhere,” Julianne told Access in 2008. “We can’t tell you the rest ‘cause that’s kind of a personal thing, but… We’ve got all these sentimental things from our first date that are like, kind of everywhere.”

She’s only 21 years old. She would be crazy to get married so young and if she did, like most of those celebrity marriages, it wouldn’t have lasted. Better she sow her oats now than regret missing something later. Career first, family later.
