Larry was interviewed yesterday by Entertainment Tonight about his awkward interview with beauty queen Carrie Prejean.
Larry confesses that he refused to “dignify” her with any kind of response when she resorted to name calling and “didn’t understand it at all” when the former beauty queen began removing her mic in the middle of the interview.
Larry says: “I didn’t do anything wrong. I didn’t know what was inappropriate. I’m doing my job…Anyway, life goes on.”
What Happened?
here’s a breakdown of the interview when things started to get weird.
King: “Why did you agree to settle?
Prejean: “It’s a confidential agreement and I am not allowed to talk about that.”
King: “So the agreement discusses the motive behind why each party agreed?”
Prejean: “Larry, you’re being innappropriate…you really are. So..I’m not going to talk about…”
King: “What?! I’m asking a question.”
Prejean: “I’m not going to talk about anything that ws discussed in mediation it’s completely confidential and it’s a confidential settlement.”
King: “So what you’re saying is in the mediation, it was discussed why you were mediating.”
Prejean: “Larry it’s completely confidential and you’re being inappropriate.”
King: “Ok, fine. Inappropriate King Live continues!”
Prejean: “Yes.”
Then Larry takes a call. Prejean doesn’t even listen to the caller and instead looks over to her right and mouths to someone, “I am going to leave,” and begins removing her microphone. Or trying to at least..heh.
King: “Did you hear the question, Carrie?”
[Silence]
Then she doesn’t leave. She removes the mic but continues to sit there. Huh but doesn’t leave.
Prejean attracted nationwide attention with her response to a question about same-sex marriage during the 2009 Miss USA pageant.

What a joker, talk about inappropriate. With all her sex tapes and prejudice against gay marriage she should crawl under a rock. Unfortunately the media builds these higher than mighty types up with all the on air time as well as print. If you don’t want to answer the questions don’t go on TV and name calling is for children. Have some respect Carrie!
Carrie was beautiful enough to win the pagent, but now we are seeing that she is only beautiful on the outside.
After the Larry King interview, the uglyness from the inside is coming out and making the outside not so beautiful anymore.
Carri Prejean…beautiful, only on the outside. Not on the inside, where it counts.
Hay Kelly…sex tapes (plural) I didnt know that there was more than one..oh and by the way if it was a sex tape wouldn’t there be a couple in the tape? hmmmm..also on her prejudice againts gay marriage…and to think…well I thought it was her opinion about marriage…but I guess in Obamaland if there are (DIFFERING POINTS OF VIEW)from the powers to be, then you shall be destroyed!thats like accusing all republicans of racism…oh wait you dems already have you people are walking Fallacies
That’s right, Coinneach, the “biggest mistake of my life” isn’t just one tape. It’s eight tapes. Plus nude and semi-nude photos. Spin that!
Carrie’s just one more in a long line of “conservative values” heroes who’s been exposed (pun intended) as a liar and a moralizing hypocrite.
Listen people, come on so she made some tapes when she was 17 this is not about whether she is homophobic or Republican, we all have done things in our past that may or not be judged by some people. Nobody in this blog is perfect I happen to agree with her same sex marrige views and its not up to any of us to judge her for whatever she has done or not done in her past. We all have different opinions about what goes on and thats what makes us a great nation but to label her as a whore or a gay basher is uncalled for.
