According to media reports Friday, Supermodel Cindy Crawford and husband Rande Gerber have been the targets of an alleged blackmail plot involving a photo of their daughter bound and gagged.

The picture, taken by the couple’s former nanny, shows the seven-year-old tied to a chair.

Edis Kayalar, an acquaintance of the  terminated nanny has been charged with attempting to extort 100,000 dollars from the supermodel and her entrepreneur partner.

Crawford said she and her husband had no knowledge of the photo prior to the extortion plot.

In a statement, Cindy’s spokeswoman Annett Wolf said: “Rande Gerber and Cindy Crawford intend to pursue any and all available legal action against anyone who aids the perpetrator in the distribution or sale of the photograph of their daughter.”

Crawford, 43, and Gerber, 47, have been married since 1998.  The couple have another child who is 10.
