The votes are in and Joanna Krupa and her professional dancer partner Derek Hough have been voted of Dancing With The Stars.
If you happened to catch the semifinals of Dancing with the Stars Monday night at 7 p.m. on ABC, then you were most likely highly entertained.
perhaps Krupa’s downfall was song choice? The choice of Leonard Cohen’s very sad “Hallelujah” for the waltz was just a bit odd.
Mya continued to show off her amazing dance moves, Joanna Krupa continued to show off her amazing body, and Kelly Osbourne continued to make her amazing comments. With those three characters on the show, you’re most likely going to be pleased by something or someone. If not, then there’s always Donny Osmond. He might not be the best dancer on the show, but he does seem to please the female portion of the audience with ease.
Tonight’s DWTS also featured performances from Alicia Keys, Leona Lewis and Bee Gees.
Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET and Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on ABC.

Choice of “Hallelujah” was a very sharp choice. it wasn’t the song but the version that was side. I assume that is Jeff Buckley’s cover, he is the singer who died. It is a waltz tempo after all. What brought Joanna down was her lack of consistent skills. She’s a good, not great, dancer. Perhaps a better Leonard Cohen waltz choice would have been “Take This Waltz.”
I loved the music and thought Joanna and Derek did an amazing routine to this music. It was well choreographed and had the right emotional content. I am sad they are not in the final as their dancing was certainly worthy of it. Derek is an exceptional choreographer and performer and his finale dance would have been exciting and innovative. I am a professional choreographer coach, dancer and adjudicator in the ballroom field and commend all the couples for having the courage to lay it on the line every week. I have choreographed five of the opening professional numbers for DWTS and know the stress all these talented
professionals are under to produce such great numbers every week.
This “DANCING” show is nothing more nor less than a popularity competition.
Kelly should have been eliminated weeks ago.
You have lost a viewer!
How disappointing that Dancing with the Stars is not about the dancing
but a popularity contest.
Derek and Joanna SHOULD be in the final.
I have watched every season and this was the most disappointing
Kelly is a nice person and very sweet but she totally sucked her way to the final.
Joanna should have been second. Donny Osmond third – he is an entertainer, and has become a mildly skilled dancer. Kelly is not skilled, or a very good entertainer.
Did the Osmonds pay big money or something, to be retained as the finalists?
What a sad shame for the show, that name was picked over talent!
This show gets more disappointing each season. It is only a popularity contest not the talent of the dances. Joanna should have been in the finals, she has talent, not Kelly or even Donny. It was so disappointing last season that Gilles lost. He was outstanding the whole season, again its just popularity. Why bother with the dancing. It’s just who you are not the talent.
