Nicole Richie’s rep said she is now being treated for pneumonia in L.A.

Nicole is being treated at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A.

A rep for the star tells Usmagazine.com, “Nicole has checked into Cedars-Sinai where she is being treated for pneumonia. She is doing well.”

Last week the star’s rep shot down rumors on the ‘nets that the mother of two was suffering from the swine flu. Apparently she’s just got a cold.

On Sunday, she Tweeted about battling her pesky illness, writing “ok cold, it’s been 6 days. Lets part ways graciously & keep it moving.”

In September, Richie, 28, gave birth to son Sparrow, her second child with Joel Madden; daughter Harlow is 22 months old.
