James Van Der Beek, who’s best know for his role as Dawson on the show “Dawson’s Creek”, has filed for divorce from his wife of almost six years.
Van Der Beek, 32, and Heather McComb (pictured), 32, got engaged early in 2003 and were married in Malibu in July of 2003. Attending the wedding were “Dawson’s Creek” co-stars Michelle Williams, Busy Phillips and friend Soleil Moon Frye (“Punky Brewster”).
The reason for the divorce was cited as irreconcilable differences. The couple have no children.

I agree. This dude is so insignificant on the radar that I had no idea he was even married. On a good note, he IS handsome…in a weird sort of way….
