Miley Cyrus Bus Overturns in Deadly Crash
On Friday, November 20, at around 8:15 AM a tour bus for Miley Cyrus carrying nine people overturned on Interstate 85 in Virginia. Miley Cyrus was not on the bus at the time of the accident.
As a result of the crash, one person died and one person was treated for minor injuries. The other passengers were unharmed. The deceased was the driver of the tour bus.
The accident may have been the result of wet roads since the weather the previous night had been rainy. The tour bus carried the lighting crew for the tour and was part of a caravan of four other tour buses on their way to Greensboro, NC, where Miley is set to perform next.
Cyrus’ rep confirmed to TMZ, that the “Hanna Montanna” star was not on the bus.
“It was one of our tour buses, but not Miley’s. It was one of our buses that transported our lighting crew,” explained the rep.
Cyrus, who is the daughter of country singer Billy Ray, made it big starring on Disney’s “Hannah Montana” and has since had an incredibly successful singing career. She is the daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus.
