when all the hoopla is over, mrs. lugar will have learned a very valuable lesson. the police can be guardin angels as they are in this matter. not only for mrs. lugar but also for the rest of the motorist on her route as well.

It is interesting to me to see how many people label Sen. Lugar as a right wing politico and condemn him based solely on the party he is in. If anything, he has proved himself to be a moderate (voted against the national gun carry permit bill) and is responsible for the agreement with the Russians on Nuclear disarmament. I am confident that Mrs. Lugar will be sentenced for the crime committed and should not get any “special” treatment. If she does, us Hoosiers will have a chance to address it at the polls.

You are correct, this has nothing to do with a specific political party. What it has to do with is being the neglected wife of a “very important man”. She will pay for this dearly. Not only will she be punished as a typical first time DIU arestee, (probation}, she will be be punished for her inability to be a perfect Senator’s wife.
