According to reports, Canadian singer Nelly Furtado has blasted Madonna over her freakish effort to look young and the lengths she goes to maintain her looks.
Furtado insists that she will never try and cheat father time in order to reverse the aging process, and would rather just sit around her kitchen and eat instead.
“I am not ready to adjust physically, just to be marketable. My sell-by date will run out eventually,” she said.
“Unlike Madonna, I wouldn’t be willing to do Pilates round the clock, just to slow down the deterioration of my body. I prefer to sit in the kitchen, drink tea and eat biscuits,” she added.
Furtado recently revealed that she rewrote her new album, Mi Plan, just to please her daughter.
“I had English writer’s block so I decided to make an album in Spanish,” she said. “I played it to my daughter and she said to me, ‘Mummy there are too many slow songs. You need more fast songs.’
“So mummy went back to the studio and put a couple more fast songs on the album.
“She’s like a little A and R person and is pretty musical for her age.”

I couldn’t agree more! It seems to be a habit of starlets in their 20s to be horrified at older celebrities going under the knife. Ms. Furtado—be careful of the coming years when you may have to perform “Promiscuous” with thirty extra pounds and crows feet. Nelly better be careful. She says this now, but she is still only 30 or so. It’s easy to say, “oh, I’ll never go under the knife” when you’re young. But if you live your life in the public eye, things change and a lot of famous people get surgery. Time will tell. Wait until she gets surgery and we can call go back to these comments she’s made. Nelly Furtado is naturally very beautiful. I think she’s all around a cool girl and a brilliant artist. She takes care of herself well enough by the looks of it and I’m glad she’s not the plastic freak-a-zoid that Madonna is.
