Mya and Dimitry are the real winners. I am proud of them. They have never gone wrong while Donny and Kim are most of the time struggled in their perfomances. Unfortunately it is not a question of rewarding the best talents. Donny doesn’t deserve the trophee at all.

  2. Marchelle says:

This is the absolute worse decision that could have come from this. There is no question that Mya and Dimitry were the best all season. It was almost like it was a set up. The best thing is that America knows. All season, the decisions weren’t based on the best dancers. I won’t watch the show again…EVER!

    • Riku-of-Darkness says:

Has anyone voting for Mya considered that, in the end, on the Final Results, Mya and Donny tied. She was a dancer and choreographer way before coming on this show, so of course she was better than Kelly or Donny. But, if she was the best, she would have gotten the 120 perfection of all four dances she performed. However, she got the same score as Donny, so yeah, it went to fanbase.

      Better luck next time.

  3. Shell says:

I agree with Sassou. TOTALLY disappointed with the results. Did not think Donny deserved to be in the final at all.

  4. Irene says:

Mya and Dimitry were robbed of the trophy. They were outstanding, not Donny. It seems like it is the Osmond show. He made so many mistakes throughout the season, finally gets a 10 and he wins, what a joke. This show is only about who you are and not what talent you have. I was so disappointed last season that Gilles was also robbed of the trophy. He was number 1 all the way. You have lost a viewer.

  5. marie says:

Mya and Dimitry should have won. But it’s all about the votes, and Donny and Kym were always the peoples’ choice. Not saying that Donny isn’t talented, but the best dancer all season long was Mya!

  6. DEE says:

I use to like Dancing With The Stars. I have looked at all nine seasons and I’m getting fed up with the winners having the less talent. Eventhough it’s up to the fans to call I think this is unfair to the hard work these dancers put in this competition to be chose on polpularity. There is no way Donny Osmond beat out Mia. Donny Osmond constantly messed up and even in the last dance where the judges gave him a score of 30 and Mia a score of 28. The sometimes put the wose dancers with the dancers who have won at least twice like Cheryl and Joanna because they don’t want them to win anymore. Well I don’t think I will be watching the 10th season unles some changes are made with the voting.

  7. Kathie Wall says:

I’m happy to see Mya did not win. Come on they showed her having dance lessons when she was three.
I thought the show was about learning to dance not dancers strutting their stuff.

  8. Esme says:

Obviously the judges and the fans thought otherwise. While all three dancers did an amazing job, there was something about Donny’s combination of technique, personality and showmanship that made people who have never been fans vote for him enough to win the whole thing. Congrats to all the dancers, but especially to Donny Osmond, who deserved the win.

  9. lAnn & Charles Bell says:

What a disgusting end to a season of dancing. It appears that it is not talant that wins but a popular personality that has had fan support since he was a child. What point is there in being judged and pulled appart for making mistakes when it does not mean anything in the final outcome. The final decision should come from the judges only, after ten weeks of hard work one should be rewarded for this by competent
people not by long ago idolized pop star fans.
I feel I have been watching this seasons show all for nothing, what a waist of my time. Next year I will bow out.

  10. Cherie says:

Mya was the clear winner in this season of DWTS. She is NOT a professional dancer. Please don’t confuse the fact that she took tap dance lessons to imply that she’s also a trained professional dancer, to include ballroom dancing. I took ballet and jazz, but would fumble terribly in ballroom dancing. Plus, Donny has been dancing/entertaining before Mya, or Kelly were born!

So tired of seeing past/current contestants who really showed dancing talent, passed over for the winning spot. This show’s integrity and credibility is shot. I will not waste my time or telephone votes by tuning in to future episodes. Joanna Krupa & Natalie Coughlin should have gone further in the competition also should technical performance been a factor.

  11. Donna says:

Use your heads, people! The fact that Mya took TAP LESSONS doesn’t mean that she’s any more qualified to learn ballroom than a footbasll player would be to pkay golf. Just because they’re both “SPORTS”? Tap & ballroom are two totally different kinds of dances – get the point? Another example – I can play the piano, but I CANNOT play the organ even though they both have the same keys in the same place; they just use different techniques. To say Mya was already a dancer (of one sort) DOESN’T necessarily mean she had an edge when it came to the salsa or paso doble – if that’s the case then you’ve got to consider that Donnie’s been doing a little “softshoe” all his life too. How come no one’s compaining about ? Mostly – remember my football/golf example; just as no two sports are the same: neither are any two dances.
