Brad and Angelina Donate $6 Million to Charity
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie donated over $6 million to various charities last year.

The couple run several charitable organizations including Make It Right NOLA, the Maddox Jolie-Pitt Project, Global Action for Children and the Jolie-Pitt Foundation.

This $6 million is more that double what they gave away in 2007. The pair said to have put $13 million into their foundation and have given away half of it to various organizations including $2 million to Global Health, $1 million to Make It Right, $1 million to Human Rights Watch, $500,000 to the Armed Services YMCA of the U.S.

Army and $50,000 to the Springfield, Missouri Public Schools in Pitt’s hometown.

The Jolie-Pitt Foundation was started back in 2006 and after their daughter Shiloh was born they donated all of the money they were given for the baby’s first pictures to the foundation; they also did this when they had their twins, Knox, and Vivienne in 2008.

In other Angelina Jolie news, apparently the humanitarian is a staunch opponent of US President of Barack Obama.

“She hates him. She’s into education and rehabilitation and thinks Obama is all about welfare and handouts. She thinks Obama is really a socialist in disguise,” an Angie insider has divulged. “Angie isn’t Republican, but she thinks Obama is all smoke and mirrors.”

According to sources, politics are one thing the power couple don’t have in common as Brad Pitt is an outspoken supporter of the Obama Administration.

“They get in nasty arguments all the time about it,” the tattle adds. “She doesn’t respect Brad when it comes to politics, but, in the end, this won’t tear them apart.”
