Lou Dobbs Road To The White House May Stop In New Jersey First

According to reports former CNN host, Lou Dobbs, known for its entrenched positions on immigration, is seriously considering entering the race for U.S. Senate in New Jersey.

This “intermediate” step  may be the first in a long march to the White House.

In a radio broadcast of Senator Fred Thompson, Dobbs said he had been approached to try his luck in the presidency. He will discuss with some people.

Subsequently, his spokesman has tried to minimize this statement. Robert Dilenschneider argued Wednesday to “New York Times” a presidential race was a scenario very long term. He added that several steps must first be overcome, including obtaining the seat currently held by Democratic Senator Robert Menendez.

“Since the day he left CNN, his phone has been ringing off the hook,” Dillenschneider reportedly said, with calls from business and television executives, as well as “politicians who are both on the right and some in the center, who are independent.”

“Some say he should run for Robert Menendez’s seat,” representing New Jersey in the Senate, he said, “and that might morph into something larger. It’s just incredible what’s happened.”

But Mr. Menendez is a lawyer and the only Hispanic member of the Senate and is recognized as an advocate for immigrant rights.

The election process is scheduled for 2012.

Lou Dobbs at one time was allright not sure what happend to him.The past couple of years on CNN he got so bad I had to change channels when he came on.Lou turned into a blow hard , he wouldn’t let anyone get a word in edgewise, why have talking guests on the show if you won’t let them talk.I suppose Mr. Dobbs can go and run for anything he wants I do hope there is enough hispanics in NJ to stop any political delusions he may have. What does Lou Dobbs think he’s gonna do save the world now.

  10. Marion says:

This country is such a diverse community, we the citizens know better and we wouldn’t choose anybody with such a narrow view of the country’s situation to represent us. We need leaders that unite our community instead of instigating and separating people.

  11. James says:

    You’re out of your mind?

  12. maria vidal says:

anything can happen; look at people going crazy about Sarah Palin which is as horrendous as Lou Dobbs, we can only hope that the people of this country will show some wisdom.
