Celebrity chef Paula Deen was hit by a ham
Deen, 62, was in Atlanta, helping to load a truck for Hosea Feed the Hungry, when someone tried to toss Deen a ham. Unfortunately, the host wasn’t looking, and the ham hit her square in the face.
The man yelled “head up.” Maybe he should of yelled said “duck!” instead.
“I thought it busted my lip, but it didn’t,” Deen tells CBSAtlanta.com. She made light of the whole mishap, saying through laughter: “Ran head on to a hog.”
Paula managed to escape injury.
Later on twitter, Deen hammed up the incident. “I haven’t met a ham that could stop me yet!”

I love watching Paula Deen’s show or anything she is on. She is so down to earth and has a great sense of humor. She makes cooking fun. I am glad she is okay.
Hams can be very dangerous when used incorrectly. lol
