California model Kylie Bisutti, 19, is the newest Victoria’s Secret Angel, after beating out Jamie Lee Darley, 23.

In late November it was announced that two finalists would compete to become the next Victoria’s Secret model.

However, Tuesday night at the Victoria”s Secret” Angels 2009 Runway Fashion Show broadcast on CBS chose the aforementioned blonde.

Of her competitor, Bisutti shares, “Jamie and I became pretty good friends as we lived together,” adding, “We are also competitors though, so it was a funny combination because we were friends but we always had to compete with each other in tasks. We had a lot of fun shopping and going to the gym together. We made food together and we got along really well.”

Kylie Bisutti took to her MySpace page to thank fans.

“My career is commercial and fashion modeling. I work in New York and other parts of the world. I am ususally traveling somewhere for it. I do runway and printwork. I absolutely love it.. It has been my dream forever and now I am living it out. All things are possible if you just BELIEVE in yourself and have confidence in the Lord. I am also involved in an amazing business called ACN with my dad and my fiance. It is an amazing business and it gives me the opportunity to help others become financially free. It also helps build confidence in people and it is.”
