According to E!, singer Lisa Loeb and her husband Roey Hershkovitz a music production supervisor for “The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien, are proud first-time parents.

The couple welcomed a baby girl into the world on Sunday morning in Los Angeles, according to People.com.  Loeb, 41, and Hershkovitz, 31, named their daughter Lyla Rose Loeb Hershkovitz.

Loeb, who first announced she was expecting a baby back in September talked earlier this year about motherhood.

“I would love to have children. I had a great childhood growing up, and everybody says it’s an amazing experience to have your own kids whether you adopt them or have them yourself. I’m looking forward to going back through all of school and doing my homework with them. [laughs] Learning all the things that I left out through their eyes.”

The couple tied the knot in January in an intimate ceremony at a Manhattan restaurant.
