Quarterback Tom Brady and Supermodel Gisele Bundchen have welcomed their first child into the world.

Bundchen gave birth to a boy on Tuesday evening. The birth was announced by Brady at a press conference Wednesday; he said that it was “a wonderful experience in my life”.

Present at the birth were Bundchen’s twin sister Patricia and her mother Vania. The couple have been married since February and announced their pregnancy in the summer.

This is the first child for Bundchen and the second for Brady, who has a 2 year-old son with ex Bridget Moynahan.
